He completed his internship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his complex spine fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. He then completed a second fellowship and spine and peripheral nerve at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is American Board Certified by American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is a fellow in American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is a member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons He has special interest in complex spine surgery, Neuro trauma, brain tumor, spinal tumor, peripheral nerve conditions, and minimally invasive Robotic spine surgery. He has over 14 years of working experience in Neurosurgery. He is extensively trained various prominent US academic institutions for various neurosurgical subspecialties. He is well published in various prominent American peer reviewed journals. He holds a record for the highest number of robotic spine surgery cases done in a quarter in the US
